Reporting Manager: Head – Retrofit & Services
Job Description / Role :
- Regular travel to customer’s and sites for Company and product introduction & presentation
- Understanding customer organisation matrix, relationship building
- Site survey, measurement, estimation of site work for installation, commissioning work
- Electrical and Civil drawings reading
- Supervision of installation and commissioning of High Voltage Bus Ducts at site from skilled/un-skilled Labour provided by customer.
- Hands-on working
- MoM preparation, completion/Installation report preparation
- Internal MIS, reporting, preparing CAPA & RCA plan, etc
Requirements:
- Prior experience with HV Busducts / Transformers installation, testing, commissioning will be given preference.
- Experience in OLTC / NIFPES installation, testing, commissioning.
- Experience in Cables, HV/LV Panels, Sub-station equipments (Circuit Breakers, Isolators, CT/PT, etc) installation and commissioning.
- Electrical and Civil drawings reading capabilities.
- Sound 3-phase system and equipment Earthing and Grounding practise knowledge.
- Hands-on experience and knowledge of electrical cables, solid Copper and Aluminum conductors and busbar termination.
- Hands-on experience with on-site sheet-steel, Copper & Aluminum fabrication tools and equipment –Torque Wrench, welding, cutting, punching, etc.
- Ability to comfortably work in odd hours, under short timelines and targets, ability to withstand customer pressure.
- Prior Experience of working in Power plants, Cement Plants, Steel plants and particularly Govt.
- Utilities and PSUs is desired.
- Presently working directly or with Company’s authorized Service providers/Channel partner/Service Contractors.
